About Konseputo Art
Art for Stillness, Space, and Intention
Why Konseputo Exists
Konseputo Art began with a quiet decision — to step away from the pace of corporate life and try something different. After years working in branding and communication, I wanted to slow down and explore what might happen if I followed an idea shaped by personal interest, not commercial briefs.
That idea was rooted in a long-standing connection to Japan — its design sensibility, architecture, and everyday aesthetics. Especially the way beauty is found not in excess, but in simplicity, imperfection, and restraint.
The Name
Konseputo (コンセプト) is the Japanese transliteration of “concept.”
It reflects an approach where design is distilled to its essence — work that feels intentional, uncluttered, and thoughtful. A focus on what matters, and nothing more.
Our Philosophy
Konseputo Art is grounded in the belief that what surrounds us shapes how we feel. Our work is influenced by Japanese aesthetics and a set of guiding principles:
-
Simplicity – Removing the unnecessary. Letting form and space breathe.
-
Wabi-Sabi – Finding beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and the understated.
-
Ma (間) – The space between. What is left unsaid or unshown is as important as what is present.
-
Mindful Living – Creating art that supports quieter, slower, more intentional ways of being.
What Inspires the Work
Much of the work draws from:
-
Coastal Japan and its sense of openness
-
Seasonal transitions — the shift in light, texture, and mood
-
Small, often overlooked moments that stay with you longer than spectacle
What We Create
Konseputo Art offers minimalist prints and objects designed to bring calm, softness, and presence into modern interiors.
These are pieces for spaces that value stillness. For homes, studios, and workspaces that favour clarity over clutter — and quiet over noise.
A Different Way of Living and Creating
At its core, Konseputo is about slowing down. About choosing fewer things, but better ones. It’s an invitation — to pause, to notice, and to create space both on your walls and in your life.
